As I sit here on my porch
This bright golden autumn Sunday morn
The is dew glistening off the rust colored leaves
The sun is warm and casting shadows
Through the forest trees
In this array of Autumn Splendor

I can feel the powerful strength
Of, God's awesome love.
As the sun shines down on me
I bask in the warmth
Feeling his love embrace my soul

As I sit here all alone
The pain and emptiness inside grows
As a soft cooling breeze blows
Wind chimes strum a soft melody
Telling me God sees and knows
How my heart is being chipped away
But, He Promises me a better day

The deep hunger in my Soul
Needs God's loving nourishment
If it is to survive.flourish, to heal
It, seems each time I write a line
The wind blows stronger
The chimes clang louder
My words are blessed with
God's Approval

Yes, sitting here in God's
Sunday Morning Autumn Splendor
For me I know his heavenly door
Is always open
